statement
My artwork explores parts of my Filipino culture that has changed over time and the parts/beliefs that have stayed timeless today. It is centered on my grandpa and his humble roots that people still go through today and how certain advanced have changed these experiences.
Family is the foundation of my culture, no matter what status you belong to.
In this featured artwork, my grandpa is shown waking up early to make a living. He was always surrounded by trash and insects.
