Curatorial Note: Successful performance based 3D portfolio based upon 3 scenes from biblical narrative. It is presented in contemporary fashion design format. Texture, colorful fabrics, contrast of materials portray the dramatic scenes in a successful manner. The student has explored relationships, conflict, human emotions, within an engaging space.

The Garden of Earthly Delights is based on a biblical story, depicting heavenly paradise, earthly desire, and hellish torture, respectively. How were these fantastic and magical scenes created? And I tried to recreate my vision of Paradise on Earth with modern fashion design. I added a lot of my own understanding to the work, such as specifying human desires into three, lazy, greedy and gluttony, because I think these three desires are the most common, as well as I didn't make a specific image of God, I think God is different in everyone's mind and changes according to inner thoughts. I also learned a lot of things in the process of making the work, such as some ancient musical instruments, and ancient punishments, and gained a deeper understanding of art history, especially the meaning of this painting.

Xinyue is a girl who actively explores various art forms in art courses. She is also a creative student who can draw inspiration from famous paintings and complete this unique art project with her own interests.
Xinyue always has a willingness to learn 3-D skills in fashion styling. When she explored new art materials, she actively communicated with me if encountered problems. She would also practice and experiment repeatedly after class in order to make her work better. And Xinyue is happy to communicate with her peers and listen to their ideas about her work. The most important thing is that she carefully records inspirations in the sketchbook, which also helps her to fully demonstrate her creation and cultural understanding.

馨月是一个在艺术课程上积极探索各种艺术形式的女孩。她也是名具有创造力的学生,能够从名画中找到灵感,结合自己的兴趣完成了这个极具特色的艺术项目。
她总是持有一颗好学的心去对待造型艺术中的3D技巧。我记得她在研究新的艺术材料时,只要遇到问题,她都会积极地和我交流,并且在课后反复地练习与实验,以求把作品质量做到更好。馨月平时便乐于与同伴交流,倾听他人对于她作品的想法。最重要的是,她会细心地将生活中的灵感记录于随身携带的速写本,而这也帮助她在每次创作中充分展示自己的创意实力与文化理解。
